In the meantime you could teach an anthropolgy course at the UNiveristy at Buffalo, Professor Banks in the anthropology department would let you co-chair his position at the University and that way you could set yourself up before the 2005 elections, Buffalo would welcome you so would Dr. Banks who has been to many of the same places yu have been to in Thailand but especially Borneo.. Professor Banks you'll find is in many ways an inverse simulacrum of your mind. he too fails to percieve the Gordeon knot on the Milvian Bridge (no that that is good or bad merely that it is).We have many Muslims and Sufis here. I dont know wehter that will be a positive thing for Buffalonian, but I do expect politicians have little to do with politics, much as economists have little to do with economy. The debates were really full of substance, and I think people who watched carefully learned a great deal about both candidates. The press is insulting to most people by implying that everyone only cared about facial expressions or height. For example, I was stunned when Kerry clearly stated that he would disarm America further (cut bunker-buster bombs), as a way to address Korean nuke problem. It does not surprise me that he thinks America is the enemy, but I was stunned that he said it with his own words. He also clearly stated that we were wrong to invade Iraq, because it made the terrorists angry. Again, I am not surprised that he believes in appeasing terrorists, but I am shocked he would say that in his own words. There are many things like this which occured in the debates, and the press is vastly underestimating the intelligence of viewers if they think people did not notice these things.
