Name: Man in the know Sent: 19.22 - sun 26 sep 2004 Srange that the Prof and Farmer Ned use the same PC. Name: Brighton Boy Sent: 10.03 - fri 24 sep 2004 WOW i've finally found a Cowdenbeath Messageboard (of sorts), just saying Hi as I've been a fan for a few years and am probably your most Southern fan (Brighton is in Sussex...thats England!). Anyway I'm off, later Name: Farmer Ned Sent: 19.44 - sun 19 sep 2004 Phew..at were a gud win over dem Hearts reserves. well dun dem pars ohhhhhhhhhhhh arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Name: Farmer Ned Sent: 16.19 - thu 16 sep 2004 oi thank yow lads are jest jellus of Gretna and all dat money their beni(t)ractor ploughed in..lol Oi bet you miss yung gilffinan..bet es on more tan a tennar a week ooooooooooooh Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Name: BAZ Sent: 13.59 - tue 14 sep 2004 Calderwood looks set for Rangers but I could not agree more about Dunfermline, their fans are gloryhunters. I would love to see Cowden get the Pars in the cup this season. Glasgow University have qualified for the Scottish Cup this season so that would make an interesting 1st or 2nd Round game. Cowdenbeath have not been past the Fourth Round of the cup since 1931 so this year they should go for it as it would bring great publicity to the club. Let's hope the Elgin win gets the Blue Brazil on a run because we're all sick of the media's blue-eyed boys Gretna. Name: Townie hater Sent: 13.48 - mon 13 sep 2004 So Davy Hay is not good enough for the Pars now. He was booed on Satrurday and 4th/5th place in the League is no longer good enough for the Townies. In the words of the Spice Girls ''who do you think you are'' Delusions of grandure from fans of the Rangers of Fife. Get a grip townies, Calderwood left youz because he knew if he did not deliver Europe and a cup final appearance again this season you short memory punters would turn on him. All that crap about doing the 60's Pars retro kit for the UEFA cup games [all 2 of them]was asking for trouble. Did you lot really think you would be going to quarter and semi finals like the old days ? What planet are DAFC living on, you have your best era for years and it is STILL not good enough. A former Cowdenbeath manager who knows the local football scene well once said to me ''The PARS are better off as a team that are always doing well in the First Division as opposed to just ok in the Premier because their fans can't take that'' and how right he was.
