I shared my ghost story now you can share yours! Have you had something unexplainable happen? Or maybe you visited a psychic and strangely enough what she said came true. Perhaps you took a photo of the sky and something odd appears in the clouds. Now is your chance to tell your tale of the paranormal!Name: Hometown: dighton massachusettes Sent: 6.31 - 23/3 Hi my name is Ashley andi have two stories to share with you. Me and my grandmother like togo to cemetaries and look for paranormal and supernatural things so we went to this cemetary in Rehoboth (massachusettes) and it is a really big cemetary so we were looking at the former grave stones and we went and we kind of got bored so we went to the 16-1800s and my grand mother and i were fascinated (my mom was freaked out so she stayede in the car). However we started to drive home when my nana(grandmother) said she wants to go back because she thought se saw a little girl. So we drove back and we started to look at the grave stones again and my nana was far away and i felt a tingling feeling and i turned around nothing was there so i looked at another grave stone and i saw a little girl in a red dress with bows in her hair but i saw her out of the corner of my eye and when iwent to look she was gone! My secod story was when i was also 11 and i was at my dads mothers house with my step bro Mikey and my grammy has this old house i the back of her house and my dad and my uncle Chriss always said that the house was haunted i totally didnt think so and nether did Mikey so my grammy asked me and Mikey to go get a table in the house so we did and we decided to act cool and tough and I told Mikey to jump up and down and hit the ceiling so he did and then an old ghostly mans voice breathed behind our ears and we ran out screaming bloody murder ! but after that day it was never the same at my grandmother's house. Name: Hometown: Hazleton,PA Sent: 7.43 - 25/12 Hi, This is a great website, so glad I found it! Like you I have had experiences throughout my life. The scariest one happened in Concord, NH where I used to live. Years ago I had a cleaning service and was working in one of the homes. I had worked for this family for many years, it was a very old house and very large, lots of nooks and crannies, even a secret staircase. I used to hear strange noises especially in the fall of the year. When I asked the owners about it they dismissed it. There was one room on the second floor that gave me the creeps, it was always cold in there, even in summer. One time while alone in the house I heard footsteps going up the stairs. I went to see who was in the house and when I went into the hall and looked up the stairs the footsteps stopped... There was no one there. Every year I heard this. The year following this I was downstairs working and again, the heavy footsteps going up the steps only this time they didn't stop when I went to look. They didn't stop until they reached the top. A few seconds later I heard a young woman running barefoot all the way down the long hall from the front to the back of the house, she was laughing. Then I heard a door slam so hard it echoed through the house. All of these sounds were amplified, louder than normal. It took me a while to get enough courage to go upstairs and check it out. All of the doors were open, just like I left them. I asked the owner if they ever experienced anything. She just looked at me funny. That was the closest I ever came in contact. I have photos with orbs in them that might be entities. I live across from a very interesting cemetery and I suspect that these are 'neighbors' dropping in. Would love to hear from you. Take care. When I saw my father in 1982 I had no idea of his being a "ghost": in fact I didn't even know it was he! My father was in California and had had M.S. for 16 years. I was in Italy and visited the family in USA pretty much every summer, and had as usual done so in the summer of 1982. I work as singer in the opera company of Florence, Italy, and in October 1982 I was in Donaueschingen, Germany, for a modern music festival where I was part of a small group performing music by Luigi Nono (contemporary Italian composer). After our performance I was outside the auditorium with my friends waiting for the van to take us back to our hotel. All of a sudden I had an urge to reenter the auditorium, and said so to my friends. When I was inside I found the whole audience had already gone away and I was alone -- save for one man who looked incredibly like my father, except that he was standing up and smiling broadly. I felt I couldn't say anything and continued to walk away. When I returned to exit the auditorium I found him again, still smiling broadly at me, standing on his feet and looking very proud of it! I went outside and told my friends (at the time I was well known for being totally atheist and skeptical of any spiritual phenomena); one of them asked me how my father was! I answered that as far as I knew he was as he had been for 16 years. She said as soon as I could I should check up on him. I thought no more about it, but when I arrived home in Florence I found the message on the answering machine that my father had died at the same moment as I had seen him (morning in California, afternoon in Germany, mathematically calculated). This is what sparked my total turnaround. More later. It seems everyone has a ghost story to share... me too. Name: Homepage: Hometown: Hopkinsville, KY Sent: 9.13 - 23/5 Hi Sharon! I received your e-mail and chacked out your site. That's a good story. I have seen many first-person encounter stories on the web and most--like yours--are very sincere efforts to tell of experiences had and experiences shared. Thanks for the story! Have a great day!
