Eddy has a unique voice and style that, like many of the early singers, made him one of the greatest. I just wish Nashville could promote uniqueness in singers and songs today rather than promote the profit margins. For the most part, today's Nashville music all sounds the same and for that reason Nashville is not producing great music that will be long lived, such as those songs that Eddy and others have done so well in the past and will always be remember! Having been a die hard fan of his for 57 years now and being raised in a musical enviroment; its like trying to say which you love better, the sun coming up or the sun going down on a misty valley. Mr Arnold is truly the most acomplished performer in his profession and all his awards attest to that; the love and happiness he has shared with all his millions of fans over all the years are truly remarkable. He has set a Standard of what a vast majority of entertainers could only dream of; to gauge themselves by. I remember Mr. Arnold as a child in the mid-40s in Atlanta and he was just as nice and kind then as he is now. I have known a lots of Country Performers and I've never heard not one say a 'Bad word about Eddy Arnold'. I have never sent Mr. Arnold a Birthday card or a Christmas card; that I didnt later on; get a 'Thank You Note' from him for Remembering him.
