It has been 18 years. I missed the scenary, and the sunset the most. I will return someday. Thank you! Sent: 5.09 PM - sun 14 sep 2003 Hafa Adai, I just wanted to say that this is a great site and to also respond to a message posted on September 11th 2003. The History of Guam and the Spanish Era explains why the people of Guam, Chamorros, have Spanish last names. Guam has had many cultural influences, but we still practice old Chamorro traditions. I don't think anyone out there can say they are truly one kind of race. By the way, it's Micronesian Guamanians. Polynesian is for Hawaii and other islands surrounding Hawaii. Sent: 3.53 PM - thu 11 sep 2003 Are there any real Guamanians... u kno polynesian guamanians. I see all these people who say there there natives of guam but they got these hispanic names and they dont even look polynesian. I guess most of the people in guam are mixed.
