I don't know much about Gingrich. I did read however, that Gingrich wanted to legislate the death penalty for drug users, including people who used marijuana. If this is true, then he is truly a bad man.

Hello Everyone, who the hell wants to talk about Gingrich? Isn't that the nerd who stole Xmas, and then wanted to sell it back to the People with the very rich Republicans making all of the profits? Damn, that is so bad! And no one talks about his visits to our local D.C. gay bath house/club...why my friends Mojo and Gordo have even seen some of the weird stuff going on there. Newt: SHAME ON YOU, BAD BOY...but it's all in the Michael Jackson home page...and this one you cannot miss: it'll knock you out! Love, Princess Peussie (and yes, I'm a real princess)----

Dear Sam

I hope you are well and gainfully employed.

I hadn't realised you were quite as vitriolic about us Republicans - the Hate Newt stuff is truly imbecilic, as is the paean to Clinton. How incredibly misguided of you. And fancy you of all people buying into that rubbish about Ken Starr being a worse villain than Bubba. I thought you had more sense. But you seem to be parroting every left-wing cliché.

I'm glad you have improved the FORMAT of your website - that monolithic block of text was like getting a brick in the face - but did nobody ever nudge your elbow and remind you of the old saying?

LESS IS MORE, dear boy!

Sincerely
Nigel

The nut case right wing fanatics are right about one thing old Nit & Rush ARE genius types when compared to the most ignorant ill qualified president of all time. Yep the old "Gipper". Here was a man that after the first press conference would never again allow him to be questioned in a free form session. The absolute dumbest man ever elected. At least Nixon was smart, crooked but smart a dangerous combination. By the way Ken Starr still goes in drag!!

I will admit Newt Gingrich is somewhat arrogant, but he had a vision for this country. His Contract With America laid out clear-cut solutions to many of America's problems, many caused by liberal programs.
Modern liberals who want no morality in our society, no God in our schools, no school choice, no guns for protection, no family values, no personal responsibility, no respect for life, and overbearing government, have turned this country upside-down.
They would rather have large, inefficient government, abortion on demand, extreme gun control, special rights for homosexuals, and more people on welfare.
I applaud people like Gingrich for getting people off welfare and into work, balancing the budget, reducing crime, and keeping out illegal immigrants. Of course, Bill Clinton took credit for all this. Figures.

I would like to express that you, sir, do not know your facts. You are in attack mode based on your own personal prejudices instead of presenting a reasonable argument based on facts. Allow me to present the following:

1. Ronald Reagan did not trump up the debt because of tax cuts. You can chalk up one for the Democrats in Congress for refusing to cut their spending! That is fact, sir. You said yourself that tax cuts had to include spending cuts - true; yet, your liberal friends who controlled the House for 40 years until 1994 saw to it that the debt was ran up. In 1986, Congress was to cut $2 for every $1 received in taxes. Well, we certainly had to pay our taxes, but guess who didn't come through on their end? And how can you argue with the FACT that the 1980's have proven to be the most productive years of the last century 9 (just investigate economics a bit, ok?)? Yay for Reaganomics and to the Republican Congress led by Gingrich in 1994 who provided a barrier for any Clinton economic suicide package that would have been launched otherwise.

2.As for the sex scandals, gee, if Mr. Bill was not out on the prowl perhaps he would not have been caught with his pants down. What is even more stupid is the fact that this President KNEW HE WAS BEING INVESTIGATED BEFORE HIS MONICA AFFAIR - and yet, he thought he was above the law and is just arrogant enough to go through anyway. Besides, the point in the matter was that Clinton lied in the Jones case and yes, the facts reveal themselves: he's a rapist (a serial one at that), a liar, a philanderer, anti-American and yes, a murderer. Anyone without the capabilities to understand and really read the cases against this man (not just the media's interpretation) is in the same position that Ms. Lewinsky assumed for him.

3. As for school vouchers, why don't you ask yourself why you continue to support a big government education system that has produced nothing but trouble? Why feed more taxes into a system that year after year fails it's future by failing to educate it's students? It makes as much sense as paying the same plumber to fix the same leak that keeps on leaking. Besides, I researched the voucher system 2 years ago and most inner-city parents WANT the choice! They want to have say in where and how their children are educated! Not only that, but this system has been introduced in Scotland where is has been very successful. Texans overwhelmingly support it under George W., so why not at least give this alternative to the rest of us? The only reason big government doesn't like it is because it takes the power away - as long as kids are ignorant, they will be susceptible to anything and government can control them. If government loses this, it is that much more cut off from our lives - and I welcome that change! And why are you so afraid of God? It's amazing that school children acknowledging a moment of silence or even a prayer is more terrifying than Planned Parenthood distributing birth control to teenagers without parental notification.

Instead of being so steadfast in your ignorance, perhaps you may better educate yourself on the facts before you. Maybe you will leave little room for refutation if you take heed.

Do you really think republicans don't care about the future of this country? And that they are only concerned with
their own pocketbooks?

you are a freak.

By the way, I graduated from Prince Edward Academy in 1990

Yes, of course. Everyone who interferes with the self-appointed elite should be slated for death. This is, after all, the socialist way - isn't it?

I've recently read a book by a professor at UCLA (who ought to know better), relating that, although the 'Great Leap Forward' led to widespread famines and death, that it actually accomplished some very good things as well, and wasn't all that bad.

My feeling, one that I think was hinted at by a certain Mr. George Orwell, is that some words in our modern language seem to have more 'creative' meanings than in earlier social lexicons. Thus, when our professor said 'good', he actually meant 'well, rather awful actually'. It is in this vein that I consider your diatribe to be a glowing expression of support in regards the honorable Congressman, and a heartfelt sense of loss that his great unifying skills have been lost to the best (and, perhaps, only viable and sane) political party in these fine and wondrous United States.

I also detect a hint of admiration for the superiority of Western Civilization, and the boon of democratic free-market capitalism. To which I, of course, respond... "ditto".

-D.C.

P.S. Yo Mama.

Christiand don't believe that it only took God seven days to create the world, the Bible says that, but how long is seven days to an eternal being, how long is seven days to a being who has no meaning of time, because that being has been around forever, and will be around forever? I am going to a Catholic school next year, and I am a very smatr person. My Brother just graduated from the same school(Jesuit)and he turned out very well, and recieved offers from many colleges. Don't insult something off the subject. As for Newt, I think he has immensly helped this country, and that without people like him throughout history, you would not have the freedom with which people like you are allowed to run their big mouths without understanding what they're talking about, or understanding what they're saying.

Thanks for your time,
Carl

you are living proof of the following:
every time a person opens their mouth (or keyboard)
they show their brilliance or their ignorance. i
think you are showing a large amount of the latter.

Is it possible to print on your sight the speech of Newt's at the Republican Women's Leadership Council In May 1999? Possibly that could help Mr. Sloan to see the truth :).
